Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and executing global test efforts on any given project and ensuring that our developers' code meets organization standards and end-user requirements.  Technical testing skills will be necessary and you will work closely with team leadership and technical peers to identify project needs for various Quality Management Services.

This is currently a temporary/contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with multiple project teams in understanding business and functional requirements for new projects.

  • Determine appropriate test strategy and approach based on requirements and design specifications.

  • Provide estimates for testing tasks and responsibilities.

  • Document test plans, evaluate test results, track and manage defects and troubleshoot issues.

  • Clearly define applicable testing procedures and expectations with business and development teams.

  • Must be able to support projects during regular business hours EST/EDT.

 

Successful candidates will possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a QA environment with solid technical testing aptitude, proven analytical skills and a solid understanding of quality standards.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and methodology related to software QA and testing.

  • Proven experience with test planning, risk analysis, test design, test plan creation and execution to deliver large complex projects

  • Solid experience with performance testing and test automation tools

  • Solid experience with API testing and related tools

  • Good knowledge Web Accessibility testing and knowledge of standards is a major plus.

  • Working knowledge of Sitecore and other content management systems is a major plus

  • Prior experience and working knowledge of Salesforce is a major plus

  • Experience with mobile app platforms testing and tools

  • Database level testing skills

  • Excellent writing and communications skills

  • Understanding of the software lifecycle, code release management process and related concepts
